A versatile singer, Ms. Feldman includes in her repertoire a diverse variety of composers and styles, and is equally at home singing early, classical, and modern music. She has been praised by critics for her "big, bright, and commanding voice" and "charming stage presence". She received her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Columbia University, and continued in her education as a Resident Young Artist with Manhattan's Dicapo Opera Theatre, where she performed principal roles in New York and throughout New England. Her opera performance credits include the roles of Adina, Musetta, Zerlina, Susanna and Sophie. In her current focus as a soloist on the concert stage, she has performed works including Orff’s Carmina Burana at Alice Tully Hall, Mozart’s Requiem and Vivaldi’s Gloria at St. Paul’s Chapel, Faure’s Requiem at The Church of St. Mary the Virgin, and Handel’s Messiah at Trinity Wall Street. She was delighted to return as a soloist with Voices of Ascension last April to perform in their Great Choruses concert, having previously appeared in Mozart’s “Sparrow Mass” and Bach’s Cantata no. 147. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and three sons.
